Coco (previously titled Untitled Day of the Dead project) is the latest offering from Pixar and comes from co-directors Lee Unkrich (Toy Story 3) and newcomer Adrian Molina. It comes at a time when Pixar, once the great animation innovator, is beginning to feel a little tired while parent company Disney is churning out increasingly innovative and interesting films.
The voice cast includes Benjamin Bratt, Gael García Bernal, Renee Victor and Anthony Gonzalez.
Will this be another masterpiece like Inside Out or a hideous failure like The Good Dinosaur? We’ll find out when it arrives in cinemas 8 December 2016.
